Microsoft Surface Phone vs Apple iPhone 8: Impossible To Say Which One Will Have The Last Laugh
Ritwik RoyThe Microsoft Surface Phone and Apple iPhone 8 are highly-anticipated devices and both are expected to come with some amazing specs and features that can only keep fans in awe. However, it is difficult to say which one will rule supreme. It is still early to predict which one will have the advantage over the other. Both the companies are coming up with major upgrades to their flagships though not much is known apart from leaks and speculations.
It's been 10 years since Apple boss Steve Jobs changed the mobile phone industry with its iPhone. Therefore, in order to mark the flagship's 10th anniversary, Apple CEO Tim Cook is reportedly planning impressive upgrades and according to rumors, the Apple iPhone 8 may come out in three variants. The base model and the one above it will more or less look like their predecessors though the high-end variant is expected to be something fans have never seen before, writes Smart Stock News.
The Microsoft Surface Phone on the other hand is Microsoft's way of returning to the smartphone industry with a bang and fans expect nothing short of a mobile marvel. Although earlier reports had suggested that the Surface Phone will have certain features similar to the Windows Phone, it will largely be a powerhouse of new specs and features, way above the mediocrity of the Windows Phones.
Back to Apple iPhone 8, there are strong rumors that the flagship will have an all-glass look. The phone may come with an OLED display, a positive upgrade from the IPS LCD in the current iPhones. Another top feature leaked by many tipsters is the wireless charging capability that will be aided more by the all-glass design as glass acts as a better transmitter. The Microsoft Surface Phone may also come in two variants, one with a 5.1-inch display and the other with a 5.5-inch display.
A QHD resolution display is also expected in both variants. Superfast processing power and efficient power consumption will be brought about by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 procesor. The Surface is also rumored to come with Windows 10 Redstone OS. The Apple iPhone 8 will also have equally heavy-duty specs and it is currently impossible to state which one will have the last laugh.
