'Tangled: Before Ever After': Rapunzel Reunites With Her Long Locks; Watch the New Trailer Here!

The Disney darling Rapunzel is known for her long locks and after almost seven long years of waiting to see the long-haired princess again, she's now combing her way back into action with the new trailer video released on Jan. 13. The trailer for "Tangled: Before Ever After," which is animated Disney Channel Original Movie will debut in March ahead of the upcoming "Tangled: The Series."

This is the first time a DCOM to launch a series on the network, according to Entertainment Weekly. Mandy Moore will reprise the role as Rapunzel in "Tangled: Before Ever After" and Zachary Levi as Eugene including a new character named Cassandra, which will be voiced by Broadway Star Eden Espinosa.

Cassandra is said to be a tough handmaiden and eventually becomes Rapunzel's best buddy. Flynn Rider, Maximus among others are also returning to the sequel alongside voice cast Jeffrey Tambor as Big Nose, Paul F. Tompkins as Shorty and M.C. Gainey as Captain of the Guards.

Ashley Judd is also joining the returning stars as Rapunzel's mother Queen Arianna, Clancy Brown as her father King Frederic and more, according to Coming Soon. The "Tangled: Before Ever After" trailer shows the Disney princess magically grows her hair back upon jumping across a full moon and she doesn't seem to be thrilled with it and tried cutting it off to no avail as the scissors she used breaks into pieces.

Furthermore, "Tangled: Before Ever After" will also feature new songs from composer Alan Menken, an Academy Award winner and lyricist Glenn Slater. Also involved in the sequel is Clara Keane, the daughter of Disney legend Glen Keane.

"Tangled: Before Ever After" debuts in March on Disney Channel, which is based on "Tangled," Disney's 2010 computer-animated movie directed by Byron Howard and Nathan Greno. The series' development was announced on June 3, 2015 and the trailer was aired during the debut of "The Swap." Check out the video trailer below!
