Gamers on the lookout for new horror titles for the PC should check out "Husk." The first person perspective (FPP) game was developed by UndeadScout and IMGN.PRO and will also be published by the latter.

According to Game Rant, Husk is a "first-person survival horror title" about Matthew Palmer, a man who "who wakes up in the abandoned town of Shivercliff in 1995 after being in a train wreck." The premise alone will remind gamers of other prominent titles in the horror genre such as Konami's hit video game franchise "Silent Hill." The creators of the game were also inspired the TV show "Twin Peaks," which sometimes veered into the surreal.

Deciding to make the best of his current situation, Matthew searches the town of Shivercliff for clues about his wife and daughter, who both went missing after the train crash. "Husk's" gameplay will allegedly be "classic survival horror," and players can explore Shivercliff while trying to solve puzzles, scrounge for and conserve ammo, and fight off various monsters.

The trailer shows off one of the monsters, which appears to be a humanoid creature who can jump to great heights. The video went on to show Matthew armed with a magnum revolver, but the trailer cuts away before the weapon is fired.

However, some fans noticed that the narration for the trailer was a bit laughable, along with the slow animation when Matthew reloads his weapon. Still, Game Rant had high hopes for the title, even going so far as to say that "it's worth noting that the trailer doesn't show much, and [that] the final product could be a well-polished horror game."

In other news, Dual Shockers has revealed that "Husk" will soon be available for PCs on Friday, February 3, 2017. The game will touch on topics such as "domestic violence and alcohol addiction."

The FPP horror game from UndeadScout and IMGN.PRO will allegedly be four to five hours long. UndeadScout's Łukasz Noculak shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming release of the game and said, "We are extremely excited that in less than a month players all over the world will be able to experience our debut game - the result of our cooperation with IMGN.PRO. In our newest trailer, we unveil some secrets about the main plot. Drawing on the elements of oneiric horror, in Husk we strive to touch upon real and often very painful problems. I'd rather not reveal any more details right now -you'll soon be able to discover them on your own!"
