'Destiny' Update: Hotfix Live Jan. 17 As Iron Banner Kicks Off With 'Clash'; Activision Teases Awesome 'Destiny 2'
Louise Bonquin"Destiny 2" has been confirmed to have in-game events and updates, which include new batch of hotfixes. Bungie stated that its team of developers is not yet done with creating and releasing updates, so, it means that more are being planned for the game.
It was mentioned that Crimson Days might be part of the in-game events that Bungie intends to launch in the future. The game developer also hinted that prior to the arrival of "Destiny 2," it will be providing new fixes to the current game version.
"All the while, we've kept our ears pressed to the Internet. We're always listening. We know that a new year brings new questions." the Bungie team stated on its website. "What's the next stop on our journey? When do we learn about the future?"
The team from Bungie further said, "Before renewed orders from the Vanguard arrive, there will be a batch of fixes for some issues you've been talking about."
On the same post, the company revealed that the hotfix is arriving on Jan. 17. These should straighten out issues that players are experiencing since the release of December's 2.5.0 patch.
Morevoer, it was also announce that the "Iron Banner" event is coming back to "Destiny" and it will bring in new features and an example is the one called "‘Clash." This is another variation of Team Deathmatch where the game will allow players to use foreign-looking weaponry while in a battle. The Iron Banner event will begin on Jan. 17 and end on Jan. 24.
In addition, a weekly event called Bungie Bounty Day is coming to "Destiny." According to Games Radar, this is a PvP event and players must shoot down the target assigned to them.
Finally, Bungie confirmed that it is working with Vicarious Visions for the production of "Destiny 2." As for the progress of the game, Dual Shockers quoted Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg as saying, "We're on track and excited about what we think is going to be an awesome sequel for Destiny on 2017."
"Destiny 2" is expected to launch some time in 2017 and it is coming to PlayStaion 4 and Xbox One. There is a chance that this game sequel is coming to PC as well.
