"Gotham" Season 3 is the show's return from its fall hiatus. The cast of the hit DC show has just promised that the audience will be treated to "absolute mayhem" with a very special three-episode story arc.

David Mazouz, the young actor who portrays the young Bruce Wayne, revealed to Comic Book what the upcoming "Gotham" Season 3 episodes are going to be like. To use the word "chaotic" will be putting things mildly, especially now that Jerome is back from the dead.

"Gotham" has been showing to the audience how Bruce became Batman and how Commissioner Jim Gordon went up the ranks of the GCPD. Several episodes also told the story of the franchise's villains. They showed how Oswald Cobblepot became Penguin, how Edward Nygma became The Riddler, and how Selina Kyle became Catwoman.

As reported by Screen Rant, "Gotham" has become a show that is dedicated to both the heroes and the villains. The series has definitely managed to keep the balance between the good guys and the bad guys. Based on the exclusive "Gotham" Season 3 teaser video, the story is not about to calm down.

In addition to Jerome's resurrection, "Gotham" Season 3 is expected to delve deeper into the threads that were left open following the show's fall finale. For instance, Selina's mother is back and knows a few things about the Court of Owls. The Court, meanwhile, found out that Bruce is investigating them. Jim killed Lee's new husband, Mario - who happens to be Carmine Falcone's son. And, lastly, Nygma discovered that it was Penguin who killed his girlfriend, Isabella.

The first run of "Gotham" Season 3 will only have three episodes. After these January episodes, "Gotham" Season 3 goes back into hiatus and will be officially back on TV on April 24, 2017, with eight more episodes.
