'Microsoft Surface Pro 5' Specs, Release Date: To Be Launched at MWC 2017
Rommel"Microsoft Surface Pro 5" has been revealed - the tech giant from Redmond, Microsoft, has let out the newest device for tech enthusiasts out there. More and more people are eager to find out about the device and the official announcement has not been revealed yet.
According to reports, however, indicate that the "Microsoft Surface Pro 5" will be released in MWC 2017. The Mobile World Congress will be held from February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona. Three variants will be shown for the said 2-in-one device. It is likely to hit the market this March as well. The three variants will have three different microprocessors.
In PC Advisor's latest article, Microsoft is really eying for the March launch to reveal it at the most important tech gathering of the year in MWC 2017. One of the variants is a Kaby Lake-based one while the others feature dual-core Core i5 and Core M. "Microsoft Surface Pro 5" will have 4K display resolution with a new stylus and wireless charger.
In terms of memory, the new "Microsoft Surface Pro 5" is expected to have variants of 16 GB and 32 GB RAM supporting 512 GB to 1 TB SSD storage. The processor for the said 2-in-1 device has no information yet but according to some confirmed sources, Snapdragon 635 processor seems to be the top choice from Qualcomm.
While there is a lot of buzz for the "Microsoft Surface Pro 5", many tech experts are still on the edge if it will be a really great offering from Microsoft citing the disappointments they had with its predecessor. Still, everyone is hopeful that finally, they would be able to come up with something that can really compete in the market, especially because this is a two-in-one deal they are offering in the market.
Speculated to provide a full cinematic experience, "Microsoft Surface 5" will have a 12.5 inch 4K screen that will run at 60 fps. There is also included wi-fi and bluetooth connectivity. All of which will be sold at an estimated price of $899.
