Major changes will be happening to "Tom Clancy's The Division", this is confirmed by no other than game developer and publisher Ubisoft. The Ubisoft RPG has been raking positive reviews lately primarily due to the numerous improvements made to the game.

Ubisoft has just recently posted the details of the upcoming "Tom Clancy's The Division" update 1.6 in the game's official website. According to Ubisoft's post, update 1.6 will be launching three new zones in the northern parts of the Dark Zone area of the game. Ubisoft also claimed that the situations in the new zones (DZ 7,8 and 9) will be far worse than the already dire situation in the Dark Zone area.

Also, update 1.6 "The Division" will not only expand the Dark Zone map to double its current area but will also include a number of surprises. This has been confirmed by Ubisoft in its blog post.

The expansion of the Dark Zone will also introduce a ton load of new NPCs and spawningLandmarks. It is also said that the further a player goes in the new "The Division" Dark Zone areas, the more difficult the challenges will get.

New hourly events will also be added to the game and will reportedly test players' ability to act fast. According to Ubisoft's post, elite Cleaners will be spawning in one hour intervals in the underground of the Dark Zone. Players are required to stop these Cleaners from spreading more mayhem to the game.

Also, to allow players compare their achievements with other "The Division" players Dark Zone leaderboards will also be introduced with the launch of update 1.6. The new setting will track activities in both PvP and PvE game mode. Rewards will also be given to players depending on their rankings. The "Tom Clancy's The Division" Dark Zone leaderboards will be divided into three levels.
