"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 spoilers hint on the status of Chelsea Peretti on the FOX drama following the fall finale titled, "The Fugitive Pt. 2." As most fans can recall, things seemed to be going well until the final few seconds of the show.

Gina (Chelsea Peretti) received a text message from Charles and after sending a thumbs up, Gina was suddenly hit by a bus in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4. This made a lot of fans wonder whether it is the end for her character on the show.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Dan Goor explained that there are several reasons why Gina may be dead and a couple more reasons on why Gina may not be dead. According to Goor, Gina is a "phenomenon" on the show, which makes it difficult to kill her off, but at the same time, a bus accident can almost instantaneously kill anyone in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4.

Stephanie Beatriz, who plays Diaz, also refused to comment on Gina's fate in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 in an interview with TVLine. The publication notes on the possible reduction in the show's characters soon.

Other fans, however, remain optimistic that Gina is still alive when "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 returns on FOX. Many viewers surmised that the accident may simply be a dream since it is very unlikely that Gina would send Charles a thumbs up.
