Samsung Galaxy S8: What To Expect From The Latest Samsung Smartphone This Year

Though no confirmation as to its actual release date, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is still one of the most talked about smartphones of 2017. No announcements have been made by Samsung as to the Samsung Galaxy S8 features but some speculations and leaks here and there give users a glimpse of what the upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung will look like and what features will it come with.

So far, the not so out of this world features that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to be having is the bezel-less display. Though a true bezel-less smartphone has not yet been achieved Samsung came close with its Edge smartphone line. The speculations on the upcoming Galaxy S8 feature is that it will be an edge to edge bezel-less display.

Another plausible S8 feature is the addition of a new AI assistant. Several reports have already confirmed that Samsung is developing a new voice assistant for its devices. The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 may be the perfect time to unveil its new AI voice assistant.

4K Display is also a feature that the tech and gadget community will probably see in the S8. An alleged unintentional Samsung Galaxy S8 leak is said to have been featured in Samsung Display's AMOLED teaser. If the display of the S8 is as impressive as the one featured in Samsung Display's video, the other top smartphone makers should already take notice.

Another no brainer Samsung Galaxy S8 feature is that it will be powered by the most recent and most powerful processor available in the market. The Snapdragon 835 processor from Qualcomm is the current market's best so it will be logical to see it under the S8's hood.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 release date is still the subject of a heated debate among pundits. Samsung has released its flagship smartphones in the MWC events in the past making a number of experts believe that it will be no different this year. However, some believe that the tech giant may not want to rush especially while the Note 7 fiasco stigma is still fresh.
