The Pokémon Sun and Moon game is available in most parts of the world and a number of trainers were waiting to download Pokémon Bank app to move their favorite Pokémon from X and Y or from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (ORAS) early.

Transfer Favorite Pokémon by Downloading Pokémon Bank

Players can now download Pokémon Bank 'Sun and Moon' Update. Recently released information on the official Pokémon website revealed some of the interesting updates about the Pokémon Bank. According to the site, players can download Pokémon Bank 'Sun and Moon' update to transfer Pokémon only in one direction. This implies that if a player transfers a Pokémon to Sun and Moon, the Pokémon will not be able to return to X and Y or ORAS, as reported by Polygon.

Players Cannot Transfer Items Via Bank

It is worth noting that the players can transfer only the Pokémon and not the items via Pokémon Bank app. An item that is held in the player's store will go back to the original game itself.

The Pokémon Bank Release In January

It was indeed thoughtful of the Pokémon Company to have timed the release of the Pokémon Bank update in January. This has encouraged players to venture into the Alola region with the new Pokémon instead of transferring the old ones from the previous games. Had the players been able to play with the old Pokémon the entire competitive spirit would have been lost.

The Poke Transporter app Update

The Pokémon Bank app is sold at a price of $4.99, as reported by Gamespot. The Pokémon Company will also release an updated Poke Transporter app that will help players to transfer their favorite Pokémon from Pokémon Black and White, and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 to Pokémon Sun and Moon. It will also include the Pokémon Red, Blue and yellow found in the virtual games.
