Nokia Heart Android Phone: A Toned-down, Cheaper And Less Powerful Nokia 6, Benchmark Reveals [VIDEO]
Pia MerciNokia, now owned by HMD Global, has recently made a comeback in the smartphone scene with its Nokia 6, which was famously sold out in a split second during a flash sale held in China. According to reports, Nokia is again making a comeback with a new Android-powered smartphone which is the so-called Nokia Heart. It recently surfaced on the benchmarking website GFXBench and will be apparently revealed at the upcoming Mobile World Congress this February 2017.
A device named the Nokia Heart reportedly appeared at a benchmark on GFXBench which is said to reveal a smartphone that will be having Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed, similar with its possible predecessor Nokia 6. In addition, Nokia Heart will also have the same processor with Nokia 6 which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430.
However, that's the only possible similarities that both handsets will be having as Nokia Heart will only sport a 5.2-inch display at 720p, compared to Nokia 6's 5.5-inch display at 1080p. Also, the Nokia Heart will apparently only offer a 2 GB RAM with a 16 GB of internal storage compared with Nokia 6's 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
The benchmark reportedly reveals the 12MP rear-facing camera and a 7MP front-facing camera of the Nokia Heart as well. However, other reports claim that the actual specs of the device cameras are 13 MP and 8 MP respectively.
The device has apparently gained fairly decent scores in the graphical tests of GFXBench, thanks to its Adreno 505 GPU, which likely beats the likes of Moto Z Play that is powered by the more robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor. But the performance of Nokia Heart's processor and battery life wasn't revealed in the benchmark tests, according to Tech Times.
Though Nokia Heart could be a different smartphone altogether, it could also possibly be a toned-down smartphone, which would likely be less powerful and way cheaper. Those customers who are looking for an even cheaper device than the Nokia 6 priced at roughly $250 in China should be looking forward to the Mobile World Congress next month. That is if indeed, the Nokia Heart will be revealed at the annual event.
