"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" first downloadable content (DLC) is just around the corner and it is expected to boast an array of newfangled multiplayer maps along with a new episode from the game's lauded Zombies mode.

Not too long ago, the game developer Infinity Ward and Activision took the wraps off 'Rave in the Redwoods' episode, which sends players to a dance party in the woods overrun by zombies. As multiple sources have revealed, players will also bump into Clerks and Mallrats director Kevin Smith.

A recently surfaced trailer for "Infinite Warfare's" Rave in the Redwoods spills the beans about what aces the game developer has up its sleeve for "COD's" huge fanbase. The trailer features savage swamp creatures, raver zombies, hallucinations, and DayGlo-painted '90s fashions, Polygon reported. It is reminiscent of the time players had The Crystal Method's Vegas on CD.

Rave in the Redwoods is set in the middle of the woods. The setting comprises a cabin, which is calmly lit by a fire; however, zombies decide to show up posing a deadly threat to the peaceful evening. This also marks the return of Andre, AJ, Sally, and Poindexter, but in newfangled roles that match the new "film's" storyline.

Joining the team this time will be Kevin Smith, who is seen donning hockey sweater and all, just playing himself. He is seen fully geared with a grenade launcher mounted assault rifle.

The horror film imagery is quite appalling, even for a "Call of Duty" game. A body is seen spinning on a large wheel as the player propels a knife through the body's chest.

Throwing light upon the title, the video footage shows a large bonfire burning in the middle of the woods leading to some sort of drug-induced hallucinations that transforms the glass to neon purple and compels the zombies to cease what they are doing and start to boogie down to some unpleasant electronic dance music.

Aside from that, Sabotage brings in four brand spanking new multiplayer maps, each encompassing a radically different experience, DigitalTrends reported.

Noir: A ghastly city map set in Brooklyn has now emerged as a war zone in the future.

Neon: This is a digitized map which comes in handy while training new soldiers.

Renaissance: It features an Italian setting packed with old architecture.

Dominion: It is a modern version of Modern Warfare 2's "Afghan," which is now set on Mars.

"Rave in the Redwoods" is part of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Sabotage DLC. Watch the official trailer below.
