Yalu Jailbreak iOS 10.2 Beta 7 Out Now; Supports iPad Air 2 & iPad Mini 4; How to Jailbreak iOS
Coco DollangangerYalu jailbreak for iOS 10.2 Beta 6 was released last week supporting most of the 64-bit devices with the exception of iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus as well as iPad Air but it did not work properly with iPad Mini 4. Luckily, it has now been updated to Beta 7 to support iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4.
The latest Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10.2 Beta 7 can now be downloaded straight from Yalu's official website but it is important to note that it still doesn't support iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Users should hear soon whether Todesco would bring support to these iOS devices in the near future.
Recently, Apple has also stopped signing iOS 10.2, which means that users who have iOS 10.2.1 and aims to downgrade to iOS 10.2 is no longer possible. Reports say that the newer version of firmware has been updated to iOS devices and the older one has been signed off, users are stuck to the newer software for good.
However, for users who still sit on iOS 10.2 in their devices, iPhoneHacks strongly suggest saving their SHSH2 blobs as soon as possible as it will only take a few minutes to do so and it will also ensure to enable downgrade to an unsigned firmware in the future. It is not yet certain as to when would the Yalu jailbreak drops its beta phase but once it will, it would be a great day for many iOS users worldwide.
Additionally, for users who plan to jailbreak their iOS devices, make sure to see the list of compatible iOS 10.2 jailbreak tweaks because installing a tweak that is not compatible might bring problems on their devices or worse, they might be forced to restore to the most recent iOS firmware.
