'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' News: Epona's Return, Button Configuration, Super Bowl Trailer & More Revealed!

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is slated to be released on March 3 for the Nintendo Switch. Until then, more and more spoilers are being introduced online daily. With that said, here are some of the game's upcoming features.

According to IGN (via Forbes), the current Zelda game will feature various breeds of horses including Epona. Epona was the horse protagonist, Link rode on "Ocarina of Time" and "Majora's Mask". 

In addition to choosing multiple breeds of horses players can ride, Link can also befriend dog companions in the upcoming Nintendo Switch game. Players can also summon Link's animal form, however, it is only available for players who own the Wolf Link amiibo.

It was also revealed that "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will feature an alternate ending. Meaning, gamers will have to play the game twice to see both endings. Game producer Eiji Aonuma previously stated that if gamers do few things differently, they can see an alternate conclusion.

Meanwhile, Gamepur reports the game's official button configuration for Nintendo Switch. Coming specifically to the Switch build, viewers can see all the button that players will be using in the game to control Link for both pro-controller and the tablet.

The Sheikah Slate, which players can use to view the map and other UI elements is set to be activated by pressing the Select/Back button, which is set near the Start button on the controller, while on the left on the tablet.

In other news, Nintendo will be showcasing the Switch on the upcoming Super Bowl on Sunday. According to USA Today, a 30-second version of the ad will run during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LI that will feature the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons.

The ad exclusively feature "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" that was backed up by the sond "Believer" from the band, Imagine Dragons. Watch the ad below.
