The Mobile World Congress (MWC) scheduled for February 26 in Barcelona is less than a month away. This takes fans even closer to the official announcement of the upcoming flagship smartphone from LG. The LG G6 will be showcased at the grand event and rumors are already clouding up all over the Internet about the device.

LG G6 Prototype Images Leaked

Recent leaks show a few images of a device prototype, which is supposedly that of the LG G6 smartphone. The images show the rear side of the device in an unfinished state.  However, the images also reveal that the rear side shell is not the one that is planned for the G6 model in terms of the panel material. The smartphone is expected to come with a metal unibody setup. Hence, the rear panel used in the image is probably the one that is used for testing, as reported by GSM Arena.

Images Reveal Specs Matching The Leaked Renders Of LG G6

But, a close examination will also show that the dual camera on the rear side as well as the fingerprint scanner has been placed accurately as explained in the previously leaked renders of LG G6. The images also show a Type-C USB port, a microphone jack and a mono speaker lined up at the bottom of the device. Also as stated in the earlier rumors a number of times, the display covers almost the entire space of the front side. It is not possible to say if the corners of the device will be rounded or not from the leaked images, as reported by BGR.

LG G6 Expected Specs

The bezel is minimal and as stated earlier, the LG G6 flagship smartphone sport a 5.7-inch display that offers a high resolution of 2,880 x 1,440 pixels. Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 821 processor will power the device. Some rumors also say that the device will come with a built-in Google Assistant feature.

Further updates about the device will be revealed only at the Mobile World Congress on Feb. 26.
