The upcoming "Mobius Final Fantasy" update will now be including a tie-up with "Final Fantasy 7". This is in celebration of Square Enix's 30th anniversary alongside "Final Fantasy 7" game's 20th anniversary. This tie-up project is supposedly to be released for Steam, Android and iOS platforms this February 7.

According to reports, a teaser video was previously posted on "Mobius Final Fantasy" Facebook page that features the all-too-familiar Sector 7 Mako reactor scene which is alongside the "Warrior of Light" main character which is the popular Cloud Strife. These content is said to be available in the upcoming event in the aforementioned update.

Fans have already started forming theories on what the event could possibly bring. One of those is having the ability to summon a "Soldier First Class" card as a job which would be nice as well when coupled with the usage of Buster Sword and Cloud's uniform. Players might not get to play as Cloud himself but at least dressing up like him and using his signature skills would be a good deal.

Additional of different job cards that will highlight other "Final Fantasy 7" main characters would be another good idea for the game. Take for example for the "Warrior" jobs, they could likely include the likes of Zack Fair, Cloud Strife and Sephiroth. While for the "Mage" jobs, there is Aerith Gainsborough and for the "Ranger" jobs, there are quite some like Vincent Valentine, Yuffie Kisaragi, Barret Wallace, and Tifa Lockhart.

The game would apparently feature a special event chapter as well which would have a "Final Fantasy 7" theme. This might possibly include bosses from the mentioned franchise, Shin-Ra Soldiers as enemies, as well as the Midgar environment.

Other possibilities that the tie-up may include a final boss for the special event which could either be Jenova or Sephiroth. Another batch of Legend cards could also be unveiled alongside the event. It may resemble what Square Enix has previously done with their tie-up with "Final Fantasy Type-O" wherein characters and their abilities can be the focus and can be used during battles. Nontheless, "Final Fantasy 7" fanatics would surely be excitedly waiting.
