DJI Mavic Pro is prioritizing production to serve its direct clients first. Third party pre-orders, as well as purchases, will possibly be served by March 2017.

Prioritizing Direct Clients

Suas News revealed that DJI has sent a letter to dealers giving them update and instructions on the status of DJI Mavic Pro and other models. The letter specifically pointed out that for DJI Mavic Pro and Mavic Pro Combo, the company is withholding all production to service their own clients on DJI.COM until the end of January 2017.

Moreover, it highlighted the two or three weeks break after January to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It further instructed dealers to advise their customers that the Stock of the DJI Mavic Pro and the DJI Mavic Pro Combo is very limited. The company, however, is hopeful that come March 2017 DJI they will have sufficient supply.

DJI Mavic Pro Shipping Schedule

In the wake of customers ranting about the delay of the pre-orders and purchases, DJI changed its shipping schedule for DJI Mavic Pro. The initial shipping time was between 3 and 5 days.

In January 2017, the company once again set a different shipping schedule for the DJI Mavic Pro, this time they extended it between 7 and 10 days. Currently, if you visit the official website, the company changed it and, once again, extended the estimated shipping schedule.

For the DJI Mavic Pro, the company states an estimated shipping time between 10 and 15 business days of order confirmation. On the other hand, for the DJI Mavic Pro Combo, the estimated shipping is between seven and ten business days of order confirmation. Logically, if the company operates only on weekdays the specified 10 business days will fall for two weeks.
