'Call of Duty' 2017 Developed By Sledgehammer Games Headed Towards November 2017 Release
JulianneThe "Call of Duty" game franchise has reached new lengths of storytelling that involves space battles in the game. Due to the change, it seems little by little fans have gone uninterested on the game title these days. However, recent reports suggest that the game franchise will have a new installment that would bring back the old game title to its roots.
Express UK reports that "Call of Duty 2017" may be set in London during one of the greatest world wars. Meanwhile, Sledgehammer Games will be the one taking over Infinity Ward to develop the FPS game. The upcoming title will be released in November or early December but official announcements are still nowhere to be found yet.
Fans also has their own of digging up information. According to speculation, a tweet released by Sledgehammer Games on New Year's Day holds secrets. A snippet that shows an old image of a possible steam engine starts to rev, then shows the dials to turn to 2017.
And just as those numbers align, a loud chime is heard ringing on the background. Many fans believed that it is indeed the sound of London's Big Ben. Thus, making many fans to believe that "Call of Duty 2017" will be back to its roots.
On the other note, GamingBolt reports that Sledgehammer Games has opened a slot to work on the upcoming game. On Activision's official webpage, the game developers are looking for someone who is dedicated to high production values.
The job description also states that the game developers are looking for a person who can create realistic next gen textures and materials for use on architecture and terrain. One of the duties and responsibilities mentioned is to model and texture realistic, modular, hard-surface and organic set pieces and props for a diverse set of environments.
With that said, it seems that Sledgehammer Games is now looking for the right people to hire for the upcoming "Call of Duty 2017" title. The game developer hasn't released any official note what gamers and fans will expect on the upcoming FPS game but with Sledgehammer Games' resume, it would probably look good.
