Latest Meizu M5S leaks have revealed new information about the upcoming device. Earlier rumors revealed that the Meizu M5S would be launched on January 27, 2017. Previously, the smartphone was spotted in TENAA, an electronics regulatory agency in China. Recently, images of the upcoming smartphone were leaked on Weibo, China's microblogging website.

Meizu M5S Will Be Sole Below Rs 10000

According to PlayfulDroid, the images reveal that there will be a physical home button on the front side of the device. The home button is expected to carry a fingerprint scanner as well. The recently leaked document reveals that the base model of the smartphone will be sold at a cost of 999 Yuan (approx. Rs 9,900) carrying a 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. The device will sport a 5.2-inch IPS display and will support Dual SIM standby. The device is also expected to be equipped with the mCharge fast charging technology and the mTouch fingerprint identification technology from Meizu.

Meizu M5S May Have Two Models And Three Varients In Each Model

The device was spotted in both the GeekBench benchmarking website and TENAA earlier and has already passed the China Compulsory Certification (3C). Also, while the device was spotted in TENAA, it came with two different model numbers namely, M612Q and M612M.  The two models carried similar specifications and features. Both had three variants in terms of RAM and storage. They are 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage; 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage; and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. The storage in all the three variants is expandable up to 128GB using microSD card, as reported by GSM Arena.

Other Interesting Specs

The smartphones will run on a 2930mAh battery and will sport a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie-facing camera. The smartphones will be launched in four-color options- gold, silver, gray, and rose Gold. Further details about the actual release date of the smartphone are yet to be revealed by the company.
