'Street Fighter V' Character Reveal Coming Soon; Game Party Next Week In San Francisco

"Street Fighter V" is introducing new characters for popular fighting game. While Akuma was a great addition to the game's roster, Capcom is still not satisfied in adding more characters to the game. There are rumors that one of the new characters would be Helen as a new image is revealed.

According to PlayStation Universe, the official page of the fighting game reveals a teaser for the upcoming characters. In the image, the hat that looks like much it's worn by the character Helen. The publication believes that Helen will have a control over Ice and Snow to damage the opposition.

Meanwhile, WWG reports that Capcom has an upcoming event held next week. The said event will take place at the Folsom Street Foundry in San Francisco. The event will begin on February 15 and will feature a number of match-ups and pro "Street Fighter" players.

Participating in the match-ups are Ryan Ramirez versus Daigo Umehara, Justin Wong and Darryl Lewis and for the main event, Nuckledu and Ricki Ortiz. The event will also be the official kick-off of Capcom's Pro Tour that is said the gaming company will feature activities throughout the year.

The Folsom Street Foundry event is a free-for-all match up and walk-in participants are allowed to join. The event will be streamed live through Capcom Fighter's Twitch channel.

In retrospect, the first DLC characters added to the roster during season 1 were Alex, Guile, Balrog, Ibuku, Juri and Urein. The new set of characters is rumored to be revealed at the mentioned event in San Francisco on February 15.

Previously, Capcom revealed that the gaming company plans to back up the game title until 2020. Executive producers Yoshinori Ono and Tomoaki Ayano previously stated that "Street Fighter V" will have new content in the next years to come.
