The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is one of the most anticipated releases from Samsung this year. This is because the handset is expected to redeem the name of the brand after the battery problems of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

Mic indicated that the Note 8 could be offered with the price tag similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to encourage the buyers of the previous model to give the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 a try. When the Note 7 was initially released in August last year, it cost around $830.

Of course with this price range, Samsung promises a whole lot of features including an improved battery. According to Trusted Reviews, Samsung is expected to give its best to make sure that no more battery problems will happen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

New battery supplier

It added that Samsung is reportedly changing their battery supplier for the Note 7 which is ATL. The company is said to be tapping Murata Manufacturing Works from Japan to supply the batteries for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

The next Note installment from Samsung is anticipated to be released this year but the period for its availability is still unclear. When it comes out in retail stores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is thought to have a Snapdragon 830 chipset for faster application processes.

Specs and features

In terms of display, PC Advisor said the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is believed to have a 4K AMOLED display and a 6.2-inch screen. It could also have a waterproof design, a fast-charging capability and USB C ports.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could also run on the newest Android 7.0 Nougat and feature a fingerprint scanner for a better security. What other features do you expect with the impending release of the next Note installment?
