Apple's iPhone 8 release is believed to be a powerful device with improved features. Fans and users of the brand have set their expectations high for the next Apple device which is believed to come out before the year ends.

Forbes mentioned that the iPhone 8 could introduce wireless charging which is intended to help users who utilize their phones for work and other important tasks. It was also added in the same report that three versions of the iPhone could be made available this year.

An all-glass design could also come with the next iPhone release with Apple challenged to come up with a way to address issues with the iPhone 8. This additional modifications and design are said to be the main factors why the price range of the phone could reach $1,000.

More expensive than the iPhone 7

BGR reported that the iPhone 8, which could come with a major redesign, bigger display, no home button and no bezel, may cost a whopping $1,000 or up. This is could be the priciest iPhone offering as the normal price range of the device is only around $650.

With this price range, the iPhone 8 could also introduce a similar dual-camera setup as the iPhone 7 Plus. BGR also noted that some fans hope that the handset could have OLED screens with a curved design.

Processor and other highlights

Apart from this, TechRadar noted that the iPhone 8 could sport an A11 quadcore chipset. It could also have up to 4GB of RAM for a fast-responding phone.

Other expected additions to the features of the iPhone 8 include an iris scanner for better security, a Smart Connector and a sensing technology.
