'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands' Update: Ubisoft Title Boasts Eye-Tracking Support; New Content For Open BETA Confirmed
JEVUbisoft is gearing up towards the imminent release of "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" on March 7. As the open world tactical shooter title approaches its official launching, Ubisoft Paris unfolds exciting features to whet the appetite of players. Not only that, it has now slated an open beta for the game.
It looks like "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" can't get any exciting for players who itch to play the game sooner. It is confirmed that it will join the ranks of "Steep, "Watch Dogs 2" and Techland's "Dying Light" in bringing the increasingly popular eye-tracking support features.
Players must note that this option will need the use of Tobii Eye Tracker 4C that promises better aiming, cleaner UI, dynamic lighting and the like. This feature also alters vision especially on bright areas in the same way that human eye adjusts to light, according to PC Gamer.
In more news, Ubisoft has confirmed that the open beta for "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will feature a new content to explore. The gamers who joined the closed beta were informed via e-mail that the open beta will introduce a new setting as their playground but it is not yet known what this location will be.
As for the open beta schedule, Ubisoft has yet to announce the exact release date and time but it said that it will occur during its most recent earnings call. An Express UK report cited that it will likely begin on March 2 and conclude on March 5.
However, this schedule will no longer provide the developer enough time to tweak if there will be any issue. So, it is also plausible that the open beta will be set later this month.
"Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is set to hit PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms on March 7 In the meantime, watch the official trailer below.
