'Watch Dogs 2' Massive 10GB 1.11 Patch Preps For Human Conditions DLC; Adds New Locations, Balances Multiplayer & More

The new "Watch Dogs 2" update 1.11 introduced new areas in its overworld. Aside from new locations, players also found a yacht with an Assassin's Creed-related Easter Egg inside. Here is an excerpt from the official patch notes of "Watch Dogs 2" update 1.11.
Update 1.11
In the "Watch Dogs 2" update 1.11 patch notes, Ubisoft confirmed new areas along with preparations for the upcoming Human Conditions DLC. The patch has a massive 10GB file size.
According to Ubisoft, the file has reached that size because the Bay Area is very large. In addition, all online activities happen in a seamless world and they need to make sure everyone gets the update so as not to split the community. At present, players are left to discover the new locations in San Francisco Bay area.
The three Human Conditions DLC missions, Automata, Bad Medicine and Caustic Progress may be set in these new areas. "Watch Dogs 2" will have the upcoming Human Conditions DLC sooner. The "Watch Dogs 2" update 1.11 is just setting the stage for these upcoming DLC's events. According to the Season Pass, the Human Conditions DLC is the second "Watch Dogs 2" DLC. The next one, dubbed as No Compromise, will be the game's last expansion.
Multiplayer Changes
With "Watch Dogs 2" update 1.11, there is no more Online Invasion radius trolling. In addition, Online Invasion download zone is displayed before it begins. The co-op respawn advantage in Bounty Hunter has also been reduced.
Furthermore, the escape disadvantage for targets in Bounty Hunter has been removed. IED/ElectroShock Notifications are also infused in the game. Now, you will hear a small noise when approaching either of these devices if they were placed by another player.
Bugs Fixes and Performance
"Watch Dogs 2" update 1.11 improved performance and stability. It fixed an issue where the Bounty Hunter in the Bounty event would not be rewarded followers if the event was canceled. In addition, it fixed an issue where the introduction cinematic would not play when replaying operation W4tched, says PlayStation Lifestyle.
