"Chicago Fire" Season 5 spoilers are noting on the decision of Severide (Taylor Kinney) after being presented with an offer of promotion as the new Battalion Chief. Not only will he get promoted, but he will also get to be closer to his new love interest, Anna.

It seems as though "Chicago Fire" Season 5 will be stretching out Severide's dilemma, as Carter Matt notes that he will continue to struggle with his decision. It definitely looks like Severide wants to live closer to Anna as seen in the latest episode of the NBC drama.

TV Fanatic recaps that in "Chicago Fire" Season 5 episode 13, Severide traveled to Springfield and visited Anna. He informed her about the promotion, but she told him not to give up Chicago just for her.

Severide, however, seems keen on taking the offer even though Stella tells him that he would not last in Springfield. It seems the team needs him now more than ever, as "Chicago Fire" Season 5 episode 14 spoilers hint that the team will be divided into several groups.

Chief Boden and Chief Anderson had quite a huge disagreement in the previous episode and it looks like the entire team will be affected in the upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire" Season 5. Some of the crew will be reassigned to different houses around the area.
