'Monster Hunter XX' Release Date Confirmed For March 18; The G Version For 'Monster Hunter Generations' Gets Third Trailer [VIDEO]
Vinay PatelAside from releasing the newest trailer for "Monster Hunter XX," the "G version" for "Monster Hunter Generations," Capcom has unveiled a brand new 3DS demo for the game in Japan.
Much to the delight of those looking to get an early glimpse of Capcom's upcoming "Monster Hunter XX," the game developer has released a new demo for fans to delve into. The game is slated to arrive on March 18 in Japan; however, there's no release date associated with the Western version at the moment.
Following in the footstep of the previous demo, the recently released demo will boast an array of brand new things for players to ferret out. This also means that fans will only be able to try out features that are present in "Monster Hunter XX," in addition to the old recognizable content that has played a key role in propelling the series to popularity, according to One Angry Gamer.
Digging deeper into the demo and the features that the expanded version of "Monster Hunter Generations" is said to come with, content such as the Renkin Style and Brave Style will be part of the Hunting Styles. Moreover, those fond of the felines will have something to cheer about as well in the form of Meownter Beast transformation.
Aside from the demo's content, as many as four people can be part of the local multiplayer and will be able to square off against three different bosses through three quests: For the beginners, the quests feature the Yian Kut-Ku hunt, while intermediate players can opt for the Barroth hunt, As far as the advanced players are concerned, they can take part in the Barioth hunt, Siliconera reported.
Watch the video footages showing "Monster Hunter XX" below. The first video, which is published by a YouTuber known as SAIVEN X allows fans to catch a glimpse of a cinematic scene of the game. A third trailer has also been posted on a YouTube channel called, Perfectly Nintendo.
Players must bear in mind that, keeping their save data afterward will get them "helpful items." In other words, they must keep the aforesaid save files in order to receive extra goods. The Japanese Nintendo eShop features the "Monster Hunter XX" demo, which is expected to take fewer blocks when downloaded.
