Bioware is right on schedule as it released the brand-new trailer for its space-shifting RPG "Mass Effect: Andromeda" on Feb. 17, 2017. The video highlights the game's basic combat systems from weapons and tech types down to skill classes and their hundreds of possible combinations.

The Canada-based video game developer explains that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" offers an "amazing freedom of movement." A jetpack is expected to be included that enables players to get high ground to gain the upper hand.

Moreover, the video also talks about "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" "seamless" cover system. With this, players can use basically anything as cover. Bioware further stated that the ultimate goal of the game is to not only provide players the right tools but also the freedom to take on missions however they possibly want, GameSpot writes.

The video also shows "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" four types of weapons, namely pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles, and assault rifles. Each of which is said to be based on one of the three types of technology, writes PCGamer. First is the Milky Way (ammo-based projectile weapons), second is the Remnant (heat-based beam weapons) and, lastly, the Helios (plasma-based, with advanced features such as charging and heat-seeking).

Furthermore, it is said that there are no class-specific weapons, which means everything is available to everyone. Also, "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" skills and abilities are not limited by class. Combat, tech, and biotics are the three categories of skills that all can be upgraded during the game.

The last couple of minutes of the trailer clearly demonstrate how it all works. Although it still has the similar "Mass Effect" look to it, it seems to be more open and fluid than the previous games in the series. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will come out on March 21 in North America and March 23 in Europe.
