"Injustice 2" will get Swamp Thing as another confirmed playable character. NetherRealm will announce the next playable character from DC on February 23, Thursday but they already did a pre-announcement on the official "Injustice" website.

One of IGN staff who has played an early version of "Injustice 2" at NetherRealm Studios in Chicago describes Swamp Thing character in the game as one with toolset that is full of unorthodox moves.

He describes the superhumanoid swamp monster's play style as "anything but typical." The protector of the environment and humanity has a "a hybrid zoner/grappler" fighting style.

One of his unique fighting styles is his projectile attack called Log Kick. "Just like it sounds, he kicks a log across the screen towards his opponent, but this is no Hadouken," notes the IGN staff. Bio Fission is another fighting style of Swamp Thing and he clones himself that appear behind his opponent and strike at them.

"Injustice 2" will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on May 16. But there is an ongoing closed beta right now, so players may not have to wait that long to try the game. Black Canary is recently added as a playable character during this closed beta.
