‘Pokémon GO’ Egg Hatch Chart Shows Johto Gen 2 Pokémon; Gen 1 & 2 Pokémon Hatch From 2K, 5K & 10K Eggs
Arianne GiftThere are two known ways to catch new Pokémon in "Pokémon GO." The most preferred method is to obtain them in the wild, and the other one is to hatch them from Eggs. Most Trainers enjoy catching Pokémon in the wild as it gives them that sense of satisfaction. Although, some prefer to go for Egg-hatching, especially if one has the time to walk long distances.
As avid "Pokémon GO" players know, not all pocket monsters can be hatched from Eggs, but a great amount of them can be. If you are the type of Trainer who's serious in really catching them all, it's about time you ace your Egg-obtaining skills, if you haven't yet.
Lucky for Trainers, Redditor and "Pokémon GO" player awashinima posted a comprehensive Egg Hatch Chart that indicates all of the Pokémon that can be hatched from Eggs. To make things a whole lot better, the chart includes Gen 2 Pokémon through the creatures from the Johto Region just arrived last week.
According to the chart, all of the Gen 1 starters (Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle) and Gen 2 starters (Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile) are obtainable from 2K Eggs. On the other hand, rare Pokémon such as Snorlax, Chansey, Gilgar, Larvitar, Aerodactyl, Sudowoodo and a whole lot more can only be hatched from 10K Eggs.
Keen "Pokémon GO" trainers will find Pokémon Eggs at Pokéstops. Hatching these eggs is helpful in growing a trainer's Pokédex, as well as provide players with useful items to power up their existing roster, according to Eurogamer.
In related news, "Pokémon GO's" Gen 2 Update also modified things for the Eggs. Evolutions have been disabled from the Eggs to prioritize pre-evolved forms. Because of this, Trainers should not expect to hatch Electabuzz since only Elekid is available through this feature. Additionally, Redditors claim that Pokémon Nests now have day/night cycles in some areas, as per MobileNApps.
