In the eight episode of "The Bachelor" Season 21, Nick Viall and the four remaining ladies took trips to their respective hometown's to get to know each other more. Corrinne, Rachel, Raven, and Vanessa tried hard to make sure Nick would enjoy their "hometown dates."

According to ABC.com, each trip Nick took with the ladies to their own hometowns would give him a glimpse of the possible futures. Nick got to experience "everything from climbing a grain barrel to going on the most expensive shopping trip of his life." Being introduced to the ladies' parents also made Nick start taking everything seriously as his decision could affect the remaining contestants.

In the last episode "The Bachelor" Season 21, Kristina was the only lady who didn't receive a rose. During the hometown visit to Hoxie, Arkansas with Raven, Weston (Raven's brother) pranks the two when he pretends to arrest them at a grain bin. As Nick met Raven's parents, her father tells them that he is now cancer-free.

Rachel and Nick travel to Dallas to attend church. Nick is at ease despite being one of the handful of white people in church, and Rachel's parents ask Nick how he plans to handle life as part of an interracial couple.

Corinne and Nick shop at "one of the most exclusive malls in Miami." Corinne spends $3,000, and Nick later meets Raquel, Corinne's nanny. Meanwhile, Vanessa and Nick travel to Montreal. She introduced Nick to her beloved special-needs students.

Before the rose ceremony, Nick is stressed out at having to make another decision concerning the ladies. 'The Bachelor' Season 21 Episode 8 ends on a cliffhanger when Andi Dorfman shows up to give him some advice.

Steve Carbone, a Reality Steve blogger, has allegedly said that Nick sent Corinne home in episode 9, per Reality TV World. Carbone also reported that the Final 3 were eliminated in this order: Rachel, Raven, Vanessa. At Nick's fourth run as "The Bachelor," he presented the final rose to Vanessa.
