AMD Radeon RX 580 & 560 Show Leaked Ashes of the Singularity Benchmarks; Could It Be Vega?
Coco DollangangerAMD will soon release a brand new CPU architecture, the AMD Ryzen and will also introduce a new GPU architecture later in the year called Vega and have been enjoying incredible pre-release hype at the moment. Howbeit, brand new architectures are not the only things that keep AMD busy as newly leaked benchmarks shows AMD Radeon RX 580 and Radeon RX 560 cards, which appear to have a Polaris refresh.
The benchmarks seemed to come from an AMD employee where it was shown with completed benchmark runs in Ashes of the Singularity for the AMD Radeon RX 580 and Radeon RX 560 cards and the two are partnered with Intel Core i7-5820K processor, 15 MB of cache and a Haswell-E chip with 6 cores and 12 threads clocked at 3.3GHz base to 3.6GHz boost. Reports say that the DirectX 12 benchmark was being run at a 1920x1080 resolution.
According to a report, the AMD Radeon RX 580 is going to be a heavily enhanced Radeon RX 480 (with an Intel Core i7-5820K processor) that costs $199 and will be unveiled soon. The Radeon RX 580 and Radeon RX 560 cards are the revamped versions with an all improved PCB with no power delivery issues, where the Radeon RX 580 has been tested in CrossFire with the use of DirectX12 on Ashes of the Singularity, which shows an average of 82.5 FPS at 4K resolution and is amazingly good result.
The AMD Radeon RX 580 is obviously a bit faster after the tests and as for Radeon RX 560 in the same benchmark, it averaged 34.3 FPS at 1920x1080 resolution. The results leads some fans to speculate that these benchmarks offers an early clue at AMD's Vega architecture although some thinks that the The Radeon RX 580 and Radeon RX 560 cards are revised versions of Polaris.
The good results of the AMD Radeon RX 580 and Radeon RX 560 cards test performances means that these cards could compete with NVidia's upcoming GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. What do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
