'Final Fantasy XV' Mutliplayer Mode Will Feature Player Created Avatars, New Feature Now Being Developed
JPThe "Final Fantasy XV" multiplayer mode will allow payers to control their own avatars instead of Noctis or any member of the gang. This has been revealed by Hajime Tabata in a recent interview.
In a recent interview with Polygon, "Final Fantasy XV" video game director Hajime Tabata shared his thoughts about the future of the hit RPG. The discussion included some insights about the "FFXV" multiplayer mode.
There have been speculations in the past that there will come a time that "Final Fantasy XV" will cease to be a single-player only game. An "FFXV" multiplayer mode has been the subject of numerous fan speculations in the past.
Though the video game director did not give away any specific details about the "Final Fantasy XV" multiplayer mode, the information he shared gave "FFXV" players a hint of what to expect in the game's multiplayer mode. One of the key revelations of Tabata is that the "FFXV" multiplayer mode will allow players to control their own avatars.
The "Final Fantasy XV" character creation feature has already been reported in the past. A screenshot of the initial character creation menu was also released at that time.
Now, Tabata revealed that the character creation feature may be linked with the "Final Fantasy XV" multiplayer mode. According to Tabata, the "FFXV" team is less focused on creating a multiplayer feature centered on Noctis and his friends.
The video game director also said that the team wants to develop a "Final Fantasy XV" multiplayer mode with fans playing as their own avatars. He said that the mode should not be about how fans experience the game as the four existing characters but should be more about the journey that players will have with their friends in the "FFXV" world.
Tabata also revealed that the "Final Fantasy XV" multiplayer mode will tie into the game. No target "FFXV" multiplayer release date was mentioned in the interview.
