Catherine G."Final Fantasy XV" just turned a few months old since its release. It has been well received by the gamers and has turned out to be a hit. Now, latest news suggest game developer Square Enix is working on the first major DLC expansion for "Final Fantasy XV". They are also offering some real details and news for this expansion.
The "Final Fantasy XV" DLC expansion is titled "Episode Gladiolus" and will be released on March 28. The add-on is a part of the "Final Fantasy XV" season pass. It can also be purchased separately for just $5. Needless to say, this should excite a lot of gamers and fans as this is the first major expansion for "Final Fantasy XV".
There is also some news circulating about the "Final Fantasy XV" game release in multiplayer mode. It is said that the "Final Fantasy XV" multiplayer mode will be part of another major update in future. The details about "Episode Gladiolus" is available from an update made on "Final Fantasy XV" website. Players will be playing as Gladio- who is one of the main companions of Noctis (the main protagonist in the game). The "Final Fantasy XV" DLC expansion will narrate the story of Gladio after he departed from the group. The add-on will also implement new gameplay in the game. The other upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" DLC expansions are titled "Episode Ignis" and "Episode Prompto" which will be based on the other two companions in the game.
Another expansion for "Final Fantasy XV" is set to be named "Comrades" and all these DLCs will be sold separately. This is advantageous to the players without the season pass who can play only those expansions which they prefer. The "Final Fantasy XV" "Comrades" DLC is set to introduce the multiplayer feature in the game. The multiplayer mode may connect to the main storyline at some point in future but the gamers will not be playing the game as one of the main 4 characters. They will be creating their own avatars!
