Studio Wildcard has released PC patch v255 for "Ark: Survival Evolved" over the weekend adding four new dinosaurs, Tek Tier and more! The patch is now live and players can now begin domesticating the new dinos and start building new structures. Here are some of the patch notes for v255.

The new dinosaur Electrophorus is carnivorous eel animal that can be tamed to take large aquatic beasts. The new dinosaur Microraptor is a small non-avian Carnivore creature used to take down riders.

The new dinosaur Ammonite creatures can be harvested in oceans for its shell and bile. But it is not simple to get them because they are defended by other ocean dwellers.

The new dinosaur Thylacoleo is powerful carnivore where players can ride them and can use them to climb trees. The creature's abilities makes it suitable for ambushes. 

New structure Tek Forcefield, Tek Tileset and Tek Doors are added. There are also four new head hairstyles and four new facial hairstyles that can be unlocked by acquiring Explorer Notes. There are 30 new Explorer Notes added.

The Rocket Launcher and C4 are now rebalanced and the C4-carrying Flyers can now move at a fixed slow speed. Item Stats on all Official Servers are now clamped to negate the old no-longer-achievable OP items generated by then-unbalanced Fishing Rod.

An option for per-Tribe Dino Tame limit is now added. It enables Official PvE servers with a maximum of 500 Dinos Per Tribe. An option to auto-destroy claimable decayed dinos on load is also added.

This update will be followed by v256 on March 29 that adds the Aquatic and Amphibious Creature Breeding game mechanic. "Ark: Survival Evolved" is available now on PS4, Xbox One, OS X, Linux and PC.
