With the sixth season of "Arrow" being confirmed by The CW, its fifth season has brought major changes to the series and fans are wondering what could be the next to happen. It could be that this would be the time to bring in some new ideas to the show as the flashbacks to the island and somewhere else are about to end but would the new concepts include the public reveal of the Green Arrow's identity?

Mayor Oliver Queen's upcoming impeachment trial appears to be just a lot of hand-waving, which is not related with the underlying plot of dealing with Prometheus in "Arrow" season 5 although it could bring more importance for the long-term prospect of the series. It could also offer some concepts and ways to refresh the series.

In "Arrow" season 5 episode 15 promo, Oliver Queen is aware that if he loses the mayoral seat, Prometheus will once again get in the way but there is another problem to deal with. The Vigilante has learned about the news and has come after Oliver Queen, attacking him although it appears that Prometheus is not letting him to do such, according to a report.

Meanwhile, Oliver Queen has now learned that his latest girlfriend has been spying on him and it might be the time for him to wonder how safe his secret identity as the Green Arrow and fans know that this time, it's not just Susan who knows his secret. Someone else knows too and it was the guy who brought her the pictures.

Fans also believe that it's likely that the cover-up on Billy's death's investigation at the hands of the Green Arrow might eventually lead the investigators to Oliver especially that there are many pieces of evidence waiting around. Reports indicated that "Arrow" showrunners are likely planning to use it as a tool to get the show back to its original, darker roots in season 1.
