Nintendo Switch Indie Games For 2017 Now At 60, Two Will Be Released This March

The March 3 Nintendo Switch official release date is just around the corner and fans will expect games to play on it. This will not be a problem for the new hybrid console because, aside from the Nintendo games, 60 indie games will be released in the Nintendo eShop, some of which will be available in March.

Nintendo finally got right what it probably should have done with the Wii U, that is more third party support. Nintendo Switch will be able to provide a long line of third party games to avid video game fans.

The video game company recently placed the spotlight on the 60 indie game slated to be released for the hybrid console this year.The games were featured in a 17.57-minute video referred to as the Nindies Showcase video.

Two of the 60 indie games that will be launched for the Nintendo Switch will be released this March. Inti Creates' "Blaster Master Zero" release date is scheduled to be released on March 9. The Chucklefish Games and Cardboard Robot Games collaboration "Pocket Rumble" will be released as a Nintendo Switch exclusive title in March.

Three Nintendo Switch indie games will be released this April. "Graceful Explosion Machine" a side-scrolling arcade shooter game from the stable of Vertex Pop is among the games scheduled to be released next month.

"Shakedown Hawaii" is also included in the April Nintendo Switch indie games list. "Mr. Shifty," a video game collaboration between tinyBuild and Team Shifty will be initially released for the hybrid console next month.

The other indie games that will be released for the new Nintendo console are all listed at the Nintendo website. Users must first do a system update before they can access the Nintendo eShop.

More Nintendo Switch third party games are headed to the hybrid console. The new Nintendo console retails at $299.99.
