Fans of the critically acclaimed superhero parody webcomic "One Punch Man" have been excitingly waiting for the next season since season 1 ended in December 2015. The unique and interesting storyline of the show were making headlines around the globe and fans were concerned whether there will be another season but on Sept. 25, 2016 during the "One Punch Man" Fall Festival event, the series has been confirmed that it will be renewed for season 2.

'One Punch Man' Speculations

The official announcement of "One Punch Man" season 2 basically cleared many speculations that there won't be another season and has made fans real excited for the upcoming season. That said, there have been predictions as well as to what the series would be once season 2 premieres and according to a report, Saitama is going to kneel before Lord Boros.

It can be recalled that Saitama defeated Lord Boros in season 1 and it seems that the latter will avenge his defeat over Saitama in "One Punch Man" season 2. Saitama is also seen losing all his powers while fighting Lord Boros although it's unclear why but it appears that it has something to do with Lord Boros' trick and since he loses his power, Saitama will then have to kneel before Lord Boros giving him time to seek revenge.

However, there are speculations as well that Saitama will not let Lord Boros defeat him and will eventually get back to his feet. Moreover, reports say that Saitama will look different in "One Punch Man" season 2, which was posted by the series creator Yusuke Murata on Twitter showing Saitama with more different expressions seen in his face. Murata has produced more close-up drawings allowing fans to see more of his expressions.

Meanwhile, "One Punch Man" season 2 is also reportedly to air in mid-2017. Stay tuned to Mobile & Apps for more updates.
