The Sony Digital Cinema 4K's SRX-R515P is a top quality 4K digital cinema projection system intended for use in small and medium-sized screen auditorium. It offers a user-friendly design at a very competitive price. This latest device from Sony is perfect for independent cinemas and claims to offer true 4K quality from the lens up to its integrated media block.

The Sony Digital Cinema 4K's SRX-R515P Projector was recently used during the CinemaCon where attendees get to experience the latest technology. It rendered a brighter and vivid picture as compared to the commonly used Xenon-based digital camera projectors. In addition, the device offers a contrast ratio of 8000:1, surpassing the standard specifications set for screening movies.

The contrast ration being offered by the device, according to Film Journal International, is a filmmakers and exhibitors dream. It enables them to show the HDR content with an intensely stretched coverage of on-screen brightness levels. In other words, viewers get to appreciate the bright in a more vivid form as well as richly detailed shadow areas and blacks.

The latest projection system has a smaller body than the SRX-R320. It has a dimension of W548 x H634 x D1119 mm*1. In addition, the Sony Digital Cinema 4K's SRX-R515P Projector has light output levels ranging from 9,000 to 60,000 lumens to fit every screen size perfectly. Moreover, the device is HDR-ready.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that Sony Digital Cinema 4K's SRX-R515P Projector technology attracted interests from viewers and theater owners alike, delighted about its bright projection technology.
