iPhone 8 Latest News: Apple Reportedly Plans To Sell A Massive 230 Million New iPhones

Some sources already spit out information that chipmakers are in ramped up production mode right now. This is due to iPhone's upcoming models, which are dubbed as iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8 and apparently, the company will require a lot of units every quarter. It is also said that the demand for chips for these upcoming Apple phones will be more than 50 million units in every quarter. This demand will start from the second half of 2

All of Apple's component suppliers and chip makers are now working at a faster pace in order for the company to be ready for the planned release of new iPhones. According to Digitimes, sources close to the matter said that the expected models that will be produced are really 220-230 million units. If this figure will be divided into four quarters, then the company might release 50 million units in every quarter. These numbers are greatly outstanding and it is associated with iPhone's 10th anniversary.
Several Apple suppliers such as ADI, Broadcom, Cirrus Logic, Cypress, NXP, Qualcomm, STMicroelectronics, and TI are about to increase their production in order to meet the company's demand regarding the iPhone's internal components, reported GSM Arena.
When it comes to the display, OLED panels will be exclusively supplied by Samsung. On the other hand, Apple is reportedly encouraging LG Display to increase its OLED production for next year, says BGR. As more manufacturers are getting involved in the productions of iPhone components, it provides Apple more chances in negotiating for lower component prices. This undoubtedly brings a bigger margin for each unit of iPhone sold.
According to also to some reports, the soon to be released iPhone 8 will be the first ever device that will have a wireless charging feature, in addition to its OLED display technology. With these set of features, Apple's upcoming flagship phone might be considered the greatest device the company produced so far.
