'Valorant Mobile:' Expected Launch Date and Current Rumors
Austin JayEveryone wants to know when "Valorant" will be available on phones like COD Mobile and PUBG Mobile. People play these big mobile games, and "Valorant" is supposed to come to phones made by Riot Games, too. But when will it come out, and what will it even be like compared to playing it on a computer?
Let's find out what we can about when "Valorant Mobile" will launch and how it may match up against playing the regular "Valorant" on a PC.
Although news of "Valorant Mobile" first surfaced over two years ago and Valoran'ts third anniversary on PC passed in June without a word of its mobile debut, we've seen no sign of the anticipated handheld version showing up in 2023 as we approach the end of the year.
No one expected an unveiling at the big event that month, causing belief in a release that year to wane.
Most think the lack of updates delays its dropping til mid- or late-2024, an extended wait from when it was initially expected to touch screens.
Riot Games and Tencent have kept details about "Valorant Mobile" relatively quiet.
Since Riot did "League of Legends'" mobile version called Wild Rift, and how games like COD Mobile are, gamers will think "Valorant Mobile" will be its own thing.
That leaked 2022 gameplay video shows it might be like the PC one with agents and skills but made for phones. It will be free to play, too, so skins and modes between versions might not match.
Linking Riot and mobile accounts could get rewards, but sharing progress or playing across platforms doesn't seem like it'd happen now.
Another source said that "Valorant Mobile's" closed beta arrived in August, raising speculation about its global release. Sarge recently said it might happen in 2024 but didn't give a precise time.
No correct reply came when asked if the start of 2024 could be when other places get it.
Fans outside China who want "Valorant Mobile" to spread more are likely hoping for a closed beta outside China, maybe in November or December. While the date it will arrive in spots like North America is still unknown, Riot Games may tell us more news soon.

The game "Valorant" isn't the exact copy of its PC version for phones. Riot is building it from the ground up for Android and iOS devices. This means your progress won't go between the two, and how stuff moves over is still a mystery.
While leaked gameplay looks like the same maps, weapons, and characters, expect the rounds to be maybe quicker. Rounds on PC usually last 30 to 45 minutes, but rounds on mobile may wrap up faster for faster-paced action.
They haven't said how many games it will take to win on "Valorant Mobile."
