Samsung's Galaxy line-up of smartphones have been notching up milestones of late with its Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 smartphones breezing past the 30 million and 3 million sales milestone, respectively. However, the Korean company is not resting on its laurels and is looking to up the attractiveness quotient of its popular Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy Note 2, and Galaxy S3 devices with the introduction of new variants in 2013.
Currently, the Galaxy S3 comes in an array of colors: Pebble Blue, Marble White, Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black, and Titanium Gray. Additionally, Samsung also introduced a special Martian Pink variant for its Korean customers. Initially, the Galaxy S3 was released in white and blue, and four additional colors (red, brown, gray, and black) followed suit in August.
Now, per a SamMobile report, Samsung will be releasing a La Fleur edition of the Galaxy S3 in January 2013, in time for Valentine's day. The La Fleur edition has a flower print on both the front and back.
"Samsung's new La Fleur edition smartphones are almost ready to ship. Samsung gave the Galaxy S III, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Ace DUOS and Galaxy S DUOS a flower print on the back of the device and front of the device. Samsung will use the same specification as in the current smartphones. The new La Fleur smartphones by Samsung will be available in the most countries. The devices are expected for January specially for valentine's day," reported SamMobile.
In another report, SamMobile revealed that the recently released Galaxy S3 Mini smartphone and the Galaxy Note 2 phablet will also be getting a makeover. The Galaxy S3 Mini will be available in Titan Gray, Garnet Red, and Onyx Black. The colors are expected to be made available by end December or beginning of 2013.
The new color variants of the Galaxy Note 2 will ship in 2013 and are Amber Brown, Topaz Blue, and Ruby Wine.
With the introduction of the new colors, Samsung would be hoping to increase the attractiveness of its Galaxy line-up of devices and bring in more sales. Would you go for the new colors or prefer to stick to the older ones?
