Black Friday 2012 will have retailers angling for consumers' attention and with several great deals on offer, buyers will undoubtedly have a field day taking their pick. Joining in the Black Friday 2012 melee is U.S. carrier Sprint, who is upping the ante and is going to offer the best-selling Galaxy S3 for just $49.99.
Sprint announced its Black Friday deals on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and will be kicking off the shopping extravaganza from Thanksgiving itself (Nov. 22).
"Beat the Black Friday crowds! On Nov. 22, Thanksgiving Day, customers can visit www.sprint.com/holiday or call 1-800-Sprint1 to purchase Samsung Galaxy S3 for only $49.99 - a $150 savings with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement," said Sprint in a press release.
The special offers from Sprint are in keeping with the leaks and the highlight is undoubtedly the Samsung Galaxy S3, which has been slashed from $549.99 to $49.99. The promotional price for the free handset is valid only for a new two-year contract with the carrier, and could possibly include a mail-in rebate; however, that is not confirmed as of now.
Sprint is also offering a couple of other devices from Samsung's Galaxy line-up such as the Galaxy Nexus and the new Galaxy Victory 4G for free. However, interested buyers will have to pay $50 upfront, but can claim it back via mail-in rebates.
"For a limited time, get this fabulous phone for FREE when you open a new line with Sprint or add a line to your account," says Sprint.
The offers from the carrier will run only till Sunday, Nov. 25, both in retails stores and Sprint's online store, for the Galaxy Nexus and Victory 4G. The Galaxy S3 deal is only valid for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
Are you be tempted by the Black Friday bargain? Will you be picking up the Galaxy S3 or any other device from Sprint this Thanksgiving?
