Specialist loudspeaker company Audio Pro has announced the launch of its newest addition to its Living wireless speaker range, the Audio Pro LV1.
The new Audio Pro LV1 is a single stereo speaker packing wireless technology to transmit audio, either as a peer-to-peer system or as part of a larger Audio Pro Living home network.
While wireless streaming might not be an audiophile's first choice, such gadgets are especially useful for users who rely on their mobile devices to store music.
The Audio Pro LV1 packs a built-in 4 x 35W digital Class D amplifier, 2 x 1-inch soft dome tweeters, and 2 x 3.5-inch woofers, with a frequency range of 50 to 22,000Hz and crossover frequency (digital) of 2,000Hz (24dB/octave L/R).
"Living LV1 is a wireless speaker system with the only cable necessary being for power. With its built-in digital amplifier, wireless receiver, DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and digital filters, the LV1 delivers a stereo sound from a single box using Audio Pro's 'Embracing Sound' technology," touted the Finnish company.
"A complete speaker system in one box, LV1 is ready to use in the Audio Pro unique network with full CD-quality. This means you can play FLAC or Apple Lossless files without any compression and you can add as many speakers as you like within range of the transmitter."
"If you use a computer or handheld device as your music player, we want you to enjoy the best quality sound in the easiest way possible via a reliable wireless connection. No cables. No fuss. High quality. Reliability. We embrace the revolution. Do you?"
When it comes to design, the new Audio Pro LV1 single stereo speaker sports sleek lines and a leather finish, aiming to provide a more luxurious feel. Moreover, the LV1 also comes as the smallest speaker in the Living series, and features a slim design form factor. The LV1 measures just 220 x 300 x 100 millimeters (8.66 x 11.8 x 3.93 inches).
The Audio Pro LV1 wireless speaker is currently available for purchase in the UK, with a £350 price tag. It is available in red, white or black leather finishes, and can be purchased with or without a TX100 transmitter.
