Samsung's best-selling Galaxy Note 2 phablet recently notched up 5 million sales unit figures worldwide within just 60 days of launch, and now riding high on the device's success, Samsung has released a new video which features the Galaxy Note 2 and Kirigami to attract holiday shoppers.
Kirigami is the ancient art of cutting and folding paper and Samsung has cleverly and creatively used this art form to show off the Galaxy Note 2 in all its glory. The new Samsung ad "Happy Holidays With Kirigami" is targeted at holiday shoppers who would get lured by the Galaxy Note 2 and make a beeline for the smartphone.
The Samsung advertisement shows off the Galaxy Note 2's massive screen to its fullest and creates the magic of Christmas with the beautiful settings and an appropriate background score. The Kirigami cut-outs are highlighted beautifully by the huge display of the Galaxy Note 2, with its changing color schemes. The beginning of the video hints at a Samsung device as the case on the colorful Samsung train flops down. However, It is only towards the end of the 1 minute 34 seconds ad that it is finally revealed that the backdrop for the Kirigami was the Galaxy Note 2.
This is not the first time Samsung has released a commercial to boost the sales of its Galaxy line-up of devices. With the new advert, Samsung is undoubtedly trying to cash in on the holiday season shopping.
