The latest leaked build of BlackBerry 10 shows RIM is continually tweaking BlackBerry 10's UI and adding some impressive new features before it attempts to make its comeback.
It looks like RIM is working overtime to try and reclaim some of the market share it has lost due to Apple's iOS and Google's Android OS. RIM's CEO Thorsten Heins recently revealed that RIM is looking to overtake Windows Phone 8 as the number three mobile platform, behind Apple's iOS and Google's Android OS.
As you can see in the leaked screenshots RIM has updated the latest BlackBerry 10 home screen UI and also has borrowed the Quick Settings feature found in Google's latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update. RIM has also borrowed from Apple by adding an iOS Siri-esque application in order to provide BlackBerry 10 users their very own virtual assistant. BlackBerry Hub, which is RIM's all-in-one message center, has also received an update making it easier to access all of your notifications, text messages, calls, BBM, email, and social networking sites.
Will BlackBerry 10 and these updates entice users to choose a BlackBerry 10 smarphone over iOS, Android, and Windows Phone? Only time will tell but it looks like RIM is on the right track.
