Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is available from key carriers in the U.S. and now all four major carriers are offering the phablet with the multi-windows view software update. A new commercial from Samsung touts the Galaxy Note 2's multi-windows feature and shows how the feature can be used for better productivity at the work place.
The Multi-Window feature of the Galaxy Note 2 was initially available only for the Verizon version of Galaxy Note 2. Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, and U.S. Cellular versions have also received the upgrade via a software update over-the-air (OTA).
The new Galaxy Note 2 commercial shows two employees, presumably at work, but working away from their desks on their Galaxy Note 2. Both the employees are talking about the multi-window feature of the Galaxy Note 2, but one employee is talking about entertainment and the other about work. The commerical also shows how the employees share their completed work on their devices using the S Beam feature.
The commercial ends with a text saying, "The next big thing for Business is here." The new commercial definitely seems to target business users who may have to use two windows at the same time and the 5.5-inch display of the phablet is big enough to see two screens at the same time with ease. Business users may also use the phablet when they are away from their desk.
The phablet behaves similarly to a tablet when it comes to bringing multitasking to the small screen. Users can open a Web browser on one side of the screen and another app on the other side and view them simultaneously.
As the Galaxy Note 2 features a quad-core processor, the Multi-Window feature is smooth and the transitions are seamless. The Multi-Window View is one of the features of the Galaxy Note 2 which makes the phablet stand out from the crowd.
If you are a business user and looking a smartphone, will you have Galaxy Note 2 at the top of your list?
