Samsung's best-selling Galaxy Note 2 recently sold 1 million units in South Korea alone, and now the phablet has got a fresh lick of paint as an unboxed Amber Brown version has been spotted in Japan.
Earlier in November 2012, the grapevine was abuzz with rumors that Samsung would soon release its Galaxy Note 2 in more colors in 2013, and the conjectured hues were said to be Amber Brown, and Topaz Blue, and Ruby Wine.
Additionally, images of the Galaxy Note 2 in Ruby Wine and Amber Brown surfaced a few days ago in a Korean magazine advert, fueling speculations that Samsung would soon release the smartphone in two new colors. Currently, the Galaxy Note is only available in Marble White and Titanium Gray.
Now, Chinese Web site ePrice has put up pictures of the Galaxy Note 2 being unboxed. The smartphone sports the logo of Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo, hinting that the deep brown Galaxy Note has already made its way to local shelves. The unboxing pictures shows the matching brown flip cover and the S Pen as well.
The Amber Brown color for the Galaxy Note 2 gives users yet another option to choose from. Even though Samsung is yet to officially announce the Galaxy Note 2 in more colors, the appearance of the Amber Brown variant in Japan suggests that the color may soon make its way to other regions as well.
With the Amber Brown Galaxy Note 2 out, could the Ruby Wine and Topaz Blue variants be far behind?
Which color would you like to see the Galaxy Note 2 sport?
