Following the market trends and strategies, manufacturers of mobile accessories release their products after the actual devices is released or is already there in the market. When an accessories maker is going to release a product that supports a device which is not released and no one knows about its launch date, it appears very weird.
The 'weird' thing has happened in the case of the much talked about device - Samsung Galaxy S4.
At the recently held International CES in Las Vegas, mobile case maker Pelican displayed its upcoming product Pelican ProGear. Pelican will make ProGear available in the market in June this year. The launch of the case or the release date is not the news.
The shockers comes when we see the hoarding erected at the Pelican's stall that suggests that the case will be compatible with iPad, iPhone 5, iPad mini, and Samsung Galaxy S4.
Galaxy S4's mention in the hoarding of a product which is going to be launched in June sparks a question that why would a product related to device come ahead of the device's launch.
With Pelican's ProGear getting June release schedule, rumors started doing rounds that Samsung's next Galaxy smartphone will land in the market before June or may be in the same month.
Apart from the release date, the smartphone is also surrounded by rumors regarding its screen size and the operating system.
Many recent reports have suggested that the Galaxy S4 will come with a 5-inch 1080p 'Grand AMOLED Display,' and will run on Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
The Galaxy S4 is also rumored to sport a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat.
During the end of last year, many reports suggested that Samsung will introduce S-pen stylus in Galaxy S4 to make it more artist-friendly like Galaxy Note. Some technology blogs had also suggested the phone coming with a laser keyboard for the first time in the history of smartphones.
