Samsung is reportedly working on a new line of tablets, the next-generation of Galaxy tablets, which will possibly see a wide market release sometime in the first half of 2013. The new rumors come in line with the recent reports about the possible advent of the next generation of tablets.
The next generation of Galaxy tablets will be known as Galaxy Tab 3. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 product lineup will have a 5 megapixel camera and will come in two variants - a 7-inch variant and a 10.1-inch variant, Sam Mobile reported. Citing its Korean insider, the report said Samsung has not finalized about the 7-inch variant; however, the South-Korean smartphone maker will bring those two variants in the market with the usual 3G and without 3G versions.
The next-generation tablets are built under the codename Santos and the code numbers are GT-P3200, GT-P3210, GT-P5200 and GT-P5210. According to the report, the tablets will hit shelves in the first half of 2013. No more technical specifications of the tablets are available at this point of time.
Meanwhile, the insider has revealed more details about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (model number GT-N5100). Recent rumors had it that the next tablet under the Galaxy Note series will be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The fourth tablet in the series after Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 2, and the Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung's Galaxy Note 8.0 is code named Kona and Sam Mobile has listed out the complete specifications with the CPU type:

Finally, the report has also mentioned 'in short' about the upcoming high-end tablet from Samsung. The most important disclosure is that Samsung has codenamed the device Roma and the model number will be GT-P8200. The feature-rich tablet will come in two variants - a 16 GB and a 32 GB version. According to the source, the tablet will use a 5 megapixel camera and is expected to hit the market sometime in the first half of this year. However, the OS and other specifications about the product are still under the wraps.
