The long awaited BlackBerry 10 (BB10) has made its official debut along with the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10, the first two smartphones to run on the BB10 operating system. The company confirmed that all major U.S. carriers will offer the BlackBerry Z10 and T-Mobile has officially confirmed the news with a press release.
"T-Mobile USA is excited to partner with Research In Motion Limited (RIM) to bring our customers the T-Mobile 4G LTE-enabled BlackBerry Z10 powered by BlackBerry 10. The BlackBerry Z10 is the first smartphone to launch with the re-designed, re-engineered and re-invented BlackBerry 10 platform, offering consumer and business customers alike a powerful and unique new mobile computing experience that is the fastest and most advanced BlackBerry smartphone yet," states the T-Mobile press release.
T-Mobile also confirmed that the BlackBerry Z10 customers on the carrier will be able to take advantage of the Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data offered by the network with no annual contract.
T-Mobile does not confirm the availability dates and prices of the BlackBerry Z10, but customers interested in the handset from the carrier can register at https://explore.t-mobile.com/blackberry-10-Z.
Like other smartphones on T-Mobile's network, users will likely be able to buy the BlackBerry Z10 with a traditional two-year contract, or on a Value Plan with no contract.
The BlackBerry Z10 is an all-touch smartphone with a 4.2-inch display with 1280 x 768 pixels resolution, and 356ppi. The handset is equipped with 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and has 16GB of internal storage. The Z10 will be available in either black or white color choices.
The Canadian company has a lot of hope resting on the BB10 and the BlackBerry Z10. We will have to wait and see if the handset is able to attract customers, which the company has lost to rival smartphones and set up a loyal user base once again.
